When it is not possible to have neither radiant floors, nor radiant walls or ceilings, it is possible to use radiant baseboards. Unfortunately their capability to provide heat is proportionate to their size and they cannot be intensified close to the largest thermal dispersion sources such as external doors. They can be external (and their thickness is a couple of centimeters) or placed within the wall (with an increased cost), and they leave black marks on the walls. Furthermore they cannot be used for summer air-conditioning, because they create condensation problems.
