Radiant floor
Deltasolar was founded in 1983, but its founders had been researching alternative solutions to obtain a heating and air-conditioning system that would be competitive under any point of view for several years.
In particular, Deltasolar’s owners, architects Giuseppe and Alberto Brucco, have done researches in the alternative energies – especially the solar energy – analyzing in the detail the feature of different sectors, and in particular those of bio-architecture.
Starting with the Sun, they realized that also warm water can be used successfully without having to heat it at a temperature of 70-80°C in order to heat the traditional heaters. The lower is the temperature, the higher is the energy saving. Thanks to new technologies, condensation heaters were invented; their performance is optimal when water is produced at the low temperature of 30-40°C.
Working in partnership with Politecnico of Turin and cooperating with several doctors and biologists, different summer and winter conditioning systems, completely different from the older systems, were studied. So, beginning with the idea of old radiant floors, a new generation of radiant floors was created by Deltasolar.

Radiant floor
The materials were chosen according to certain tests that indicated which were the best materials to use. In Deltasolar’s radiant floors, water at 25-38°C flows in reticulated polyethylene with thermal memory pipes, even though the pipe can withstand a temperature up to 100°C.
DELTASOLAR developed, tested and patented a unique system to block the pipe that can be adapted to any kind of insulating background.
DELTASOLAR has also developed the best way to test and set its systems after the installation. Two different types of tests are performed: one of them verifies how the system withstands a pressure of 6 atm, and the other checks the balance of the circuits. After these two checks have been performed, the pipes will be finally covered and the work completed.
