BIOARCHITECTURE AND ECOLOGY
Deltasolar’s method is quite revolutionary not only for the technologies and the materials used, but also because it was set up based on the study of the biological and physiological needs of the human body according to formal science as well as other less known sciences such as bio-architecture and Feng Shui.
Working with doctors, biologists and the researchers of Sorin Biomedica, it was discovered that the ideal temperature for a radiant floor has to be uniform and inferior to the one of the human body by about 10°C – therefore it would be ideal during winter to have a temperature comprised between 24° and 26°C. (Other radiant floors the heat at ground level reaches temperatures even higher than 33°C, thus giving problems and leg swellings).
Furthermore, the homes whose criteria are based on bio-architecture, are made of the most natural materials possible: following this guideline, Deltasolar’s radiant floors have been studied to be installed – thanks to our patented pipe staples – even on cork panels without the need of metallic grids, which are used by other companies generating a “Faraday cage” effect, thus penalizing the biological energy needed for the human welfare.
ECOLOGY: HEATING WITH AN EYE ON THE ENVIRONMENT
Working with water heated at a temperature comprised between 27 and 38°C, Deltasolar systems can be powered with alternative energy sources such as heating pumps connected to geothermal wells, solar panels or spare industrial heat.
These systems are perfect for district heating because they work with low temperatures and therefore the heat dispersion is reduced. If the systems are powered by normal methane, GPL or oil heaters, the fuel consumption is reduced by 25-35% in respect to a traditional system. Using condensation heaters creates less pollution and the saving is greatly increased. The energy saving can reach even the 60% in large environments such as sporting centers, exhibition areas, churches, industrial plants...
